Each week, the Missourian highlights a government record that is available to the public. Open records help people keep government in check and help them better understand how government affects their lives.

Each week the Missourian will feature another open record. This week:

The records: News and statistics from recent seasons of any Missouri sport.

Why you'd want them: If you're wondering about a certain statistic about a certain player from a certain year or if you want to remember the details about a certain game.

Where you get the records: Go to www.mutigers.com. Then click the "sports" tab to choose a sport. Once you're on the page of the sport of your choice, click the "archives" tab.

How much will it cost: The information is free.
