COLUMBIA — Signal and turn lane changes are coming to the intersection of College Avenue, Paris Road and Rogers Street on Wednesday.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will add a protected left turn lane on southbound College Avenue for vehicles turning onto Paris Road, according to a news release. Pavement marking changes on Paris Road and Rogers Street will create one lane for vehicles turning left and another lane for those passing through the intersection or turning right onto College Avenue.
Motorists can expect periodic lane closures from 11 p.m. Wednesday through 7 a.m. Thursday as MoDOT crews plan to work during the overnight hours, the release stated.
MoDOT also plans to begin adjusting the timing of traffic signals along College Avenue from Paris Road to Ashland Road over the next few weeks in hopes of improving traffic flow.
