The records: Boone County Traffic Count Data. You can find the average daily traffic count for a selection of Boone County roads.
Why you’d want them: You can find out the official counts for your street or your commute, and see how counts have changed over time.
Where you get the records: Go to http://www.showmeboone.com/PW/ and click on the illustration with a stop sign at the top. To view a report of all available Boone County roads, click on “submit query” toward the middle of the page. Scroll through the alphabetical list until your desired road is found. Some of the roads will have just one count; others might have half a dozen. For instance, the count on Gans Creek Road at Bonne Femme Church Road was 87 in 2003, 52 in 2004 and 140 in 2007.
