Deputies investigating stabbing of Columbia man inside Peppers Nightclub

COLUMBIA — Law enforcement is still looking for the suspect in a stabbing case that happened Saturday morning inside Peppers Nightclub at 4515 N. Highway 763.
The victim, a 21-year-old Columbia man, was wounded on his back and arm. The man told the police that he was assaulted on the dance floor, but he was unable to provide information about the suspect, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department. The case is under investigation and there is no lead or information about the suspect.

The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment and has since been released.
Last month a 17-year-old man was wounded in a shooting at the parking lot of Pepper’s Nightclub.
Police are urging anyone with information about the stabbing to contact CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS.
