COLUMBIA — During an open house held Thursday to honor Cindy Mustard, the Missourian asked some people who've known Mustard a long time to reflect on what she has contributed to Columbia, and what she has meant to them personally.
Mustard is retiring after serving as executive director of the Voluntary Action Center for 20 years. Donna Beckett, one of the Missourian's interviewees, said she always thinks of Mustard at Christmas time because of her charity.
"She will be sorely missed," Beckett said.
Amy Myers, a finance administrator at the Voluntary Action Center, shared her thoughts through MyMissourian.
