He also saw Church at Mizzou Arena, but said he enjoyed the smaller setting downtown.
His guilty food pleasure is White Castle chicken sandwiches.
“I try to avoid that though as much as I can. I usually only get two. You got to be careful with White Castle,” Madison said.
Teammate and close friend Corey Sudhoff said he’s seen Madison eat up to seven of the sandwiches at once.
“He can pound those,” Sudhoff said.
Hunting and fishing are hobbies.
Madison said his favorite fishing experience was in Alaska, where he caught an 11-pound salmon and a 7-pound bass.
He also enjoys deer and turkey hunting, but because of football, he doesn’t get to hunt often.
“Last year I didn’t even get to go, but the year before I got back home for a day,” he said. “Hopefully (this year) I can sneak back home and try and get up there for a day to hunt.”
He and Sudhoff are in the middle of an MLB 2k10 battle
Sudhoff said they have played about 150 games, and while they don’t keep track by hand (“it’s all in our minds, “ he said of the scoring system), the advantage goes to Madison by about 10 games.
He leaves his socks on when he gets his feet/ankles taped.
“We take our socks off when we get our feet taped and stuff like that," teammate Dominique Hamilton said. "He leaves his socks on. … That’s not normal at all.”
