COLUMBIA — The En-kata choir, a Tanzanian singing group, spent the last two days performing at the New Hope Church in Columbia. The singers came to the U.S. as part of The Hope of the Maasai tour.
Mathayo Yohana, the youngest member of the En-kata choir, looks out at the congregation on Wednesday evening at the New Hope Church. Jacob Mills, who partners with the Pamoja Ministries, translated Yohana saying he was very happy about getting the opportunity to travel around the world and that he also feels lucky to get the chance of an education.

The En-kata Choir of the Pamoja Ministries from Tanzania, perform Wednesday night at New Hope Church. The performance was part of the group's Hope of the Maasai tour. The group spent last month in Canada and then traveled to North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Chicago and St. Louis before coming to Columbia.
