The Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity has hosted a food drive every year since 1995 to help low-income families in mid-Missouri. During Sunday's event, held at MU's Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center, the group's members prepared food packages for families.
Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity members prepare the Thanksgiving Food Drive packages to serve 50 low-income mid-Missouri families Sunday morning at Gaines/ Oldham Black Culture Center. The group started serving seven families in 1995 and this year hosted its 16th food drive.

With the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity aims to provide enough supplies to feed each family three meals per day for seven days leading to and including Thanksgiving Day.
