If you'll be spending some free time during the holidays doing some reading, allow us to make suggestions for your reading list.
We asked six bookstores from around town to suggest five books either about Columbia or written by an author from Columbia. Some Missourian editors jumped in with suggestions, as well.
The books cover a diverse array of genres, including reference books, photo essays and literary fiction. Where applicable, we've linked to the store website. Where prices are listed, they are based on quotes from the booksellers, with the exception of the MU Bookstore — prices are from its website.
