Independence Bowl: Missouri leads North Carolina 31-10 at halftime

SHREVEPORT, La. — The Missouri offense scored on its first five possessions Monday at the Independence Bowl and claimed a 31-10 first half lead.
In the first quarter, Missouri quarterback James Franklin passed to wide receiver T.J. Moe in the backfield, and Moe hit fellow receiver Wes Kemp for a 40-yard touchdown, Missouri's first of the game. Franklin ran into the end zone from two yards out to score the Tigers' second touchdown. Franklin added a touchdown pass and running back Kendial Lawrence scored a rushing touchdown in the second quarter
