Hickman girls basketball team wins opener at Rolla tournament

The Hickman girls basketball team beat Waynesville 49-37 on Monday in the first round of the Rolla tournament.
Kendahl Adams led the Kewpies (10-1) with 20 points. Emily Miller scored 10, and Cherish Walton and Kimberly Lake had eight points apiece.

Hickman is set to play Sullivan in the semifinals of the tournament at 6 p.m. Thursday. The championship round is scheduled for Saturday.
