The Hickman girls basketball team ran away with the championship at the Rolla Tournament, beating Owensville 63-25 on Saturday in the title game.
"They played the best game I've seen them play all season," Kewpies coach Tonya Mirts said.
Every Hickman player that got into the game scored, led by Emily Miller's 14 points. Andrea Drake followed with 12 points, while Kimberly Lake had nine points and Jordan Matthews, Mikayla Logan and Cherish Walton had eight points apiece in a balanced scoring effort.
"Having that many weapons made it easy," Mirts said.
Miller and Kendahl Adams, who scored 20 points in Hickman's opener at the tournament but sat out Saturday's game with shoulder trouble, were both named to the all-tournament team, and the Kewpies improved their record to 12-1.
Hickman is scheduled to play next on Tuesday at Lebanon.
