COLUMBIA — Unseasonably warm temperatures in the first few days of January lured Columbians outdoors to city parks and recreation areas.

She and her husband Anthony Zukoff were looking for oyster mushrooms, which that are normally not easy to find in winter. But the temperatures has been higher than usual, Zukoff collected about a pound of mushrooms the week before at the same trail.
