COLUMBIA — The name of the boat was apparently too tempting.

A boat, named "Guilty as Sin," was reported stolen Tuesday, the Boone County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday. The boat — a red, white and gray 1986 Chris Craft Stinger 312 — was last seen at about 6 p.m. Saturday and was on a white triple axle trailer. It is now missing from a storage facility on I-70 Drive Southeast.

The boat and its trailer are valued at $26,000.

The Sheriff's Department said the suspect might be driving an early 1990s Chevrolet dual rear-wheeled pickup truck with a black steel flatbed.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. Contact Crime Stoppers at 875-8477.
