Access from Windsor Street to College Avenue closed Monday

*Access from Windsor Street to College Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. An earlier version of this article misidentified which part of the intersection will be closed and the correct detour.

COLUMBIA — Windsor Street will be closed *at College Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

Connie Kacprowicz, utilities services specialist with Columbia Water and Light, said construction will occur on College Avenue between Walnut and Ash streets. Columbia Water and Light will be installing electrical conduits for a building project by Trittenbach Construction.

The project is not expected to interrupt traffic on College Avenue.

*Vehicles heading west to College Avenue should detour around the block using Melbourne Street.
