Missouri gymnasts upset host Nebraska

The No. 20 Missouri gymnastics team upset No. 4 Nebraska 195.725-194.550 on Saturday at the Devaney Center in Lincoln, Neb. The victory marks the first time the Tigers have defeated Nebraska in the regular season since 1995.
Freshman Rachel Updike and senior May Burke led Missouri. Updike won the beam and floor exercise and Burke finished second in the all-around.

After the second rotation, the Tigers were down 98.425-98.025, but posted a season high 49.025 on the floor in the third rotation to move past the Cornhuskers by 1.675 going into the final rotation.
The Tigers come back home to host North Carolina State on Friday at Hearnes Center.
