Rock Bridge girls basketball wins tournament in St. Louis

COLUMBIA – The Rock Bridge girls basketball team won the Webster Winter Classic by beating host St. Joseph’s Academy 63-50 in the championship game on Saturday in St. Louis.
Bruins freshman Sophie Cunningham scored 23 points against the Angels to earn tournament MVP. Her older sister Lindsey Cunningham added 11 points, and forward Hannah Dressler scored 14 points. All three were named to the all-tournament team.

The Bruins improved to 18-3 this season and are winners of 10 games in a row. Their next game is on Thursday against Jefferson City.
