The New York Giants scored a touchdown with less than a minute remaining to defeat the New England Patriots 21-17 in the Super Bowl. New York quarterback Eli Manning, who led the nine-play, 88-yard drive to win the game, was named the MVP. The Giants also beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl four years ago.
