Rock Bridge, Hickman football players make college commitments

COLUMBIA — Fourteen football players from Rock Bridge and Hickman high schools committed to play college football last week. 

The 14 players include four signees to Football Bowl Subdivision schools and three more who will play in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Rock Bridge's signees are:

Bo Bell — Truman State University
Carl Bivens — Southern Illinois University-Carbondale 
Nate Egharevba — William Jewell College
Shawn Gaines — Culver-Stockton College
Dakota Melson — Eastern Illinois University (preferred walk-on)
Ian Patterson — Kansas State University (preferred walk-on) 
Josh Powell — University of Central Missouri
Austin Ray — University of Colorado-Boulder
Corey Reuter — Missouri University of Science & Technology at Rolla
Michael Stannard — University of Memphis
Brad Troyer — Drake University

Hickman's signees are:

Logan Fitch — Missouri S&T
Alex Keith — University of Minnesota
Jeff Treadway — Culver-Stockton College

Rock Bridge went 7-4 last season and Hickman went 5-6. Both teams made the Missouri state playoffs.
