COLUMBIA — Gordon Lamb, whose 40 years in higher education included the role of interim president of the University of Missouri System from 2007 to 2008, died Monday. The office of current Interim President Stephen Owens reported Lamb’s death Thursday afternoon.
Lamb helped establish the Missouri 100, an advisory group that promotes the role of MU in Missouri’s future and worldwide.
Lamb is survived by his wife, Nancy, three sons and five grandchildren.
