Missouri gymnastics team third at Chicago meet

The Missouri gymnastics team placed third at Friday night's Illinois Gymnastics Institute's Chicago Style Meet with a 195.525 team score.
No. 7-ranked UCLA won the four-team event with a 196.850, and No. 15 Boise State was second at 196.025. The No. 18-ranked Tigers bettered No. 19 Illinois (195.100).

Senior Mary Burke took the all-around title at the meet with a 39.375, beating UCLA's Samantha Peszek (39.275) who came into the meet undefeated in the all-around. Burke's night featured a tie for first place on the uneven parallel bars with UCLA's Olivia Courtney at 9.900.
The Tigers host Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. next Friday at Mizzou Arena.
