Stephens College basketball falls to Missouri Baptist

COLUMBIA — The Stephens College basketball team lost to Missouri Baptist 53-45 on Saturday at Silverthorne Arena. The loss drops the Stars to 2-21 overall and 1-9 in the American Midwest Conference.

Missouri Baptist's Lauren Taylor scored a game-high 22 points. Stephens leading scorer was Megan Sheffield with nine points. 

Stephens next game set for 7 p.m. Thursday at home against Hannibal-LaGrange.
