Columbia College women's basketball wins AMC tournament opener

Columbia College guard Aqua Corpening drives to the basket during the game against Park University on Wednesday at Southwell Complex. The No. 1 seed Cougars defeated the No. 8 seed Pirates.

With the win, the top-seeded Cougars advanced to the semifinals of the tournament where they will play against fourth seed Williams Baptist on Friday.
