More than 200 people volunteer with Almeta Crayton's Everyone Eats on Thursday, helping set up, cook, serve and clean up after the meal.

Thursday was the first Thanksgiving since Crayton's death last month, and for many volunteers, this year's community dinner was a way to ensure that her vision lived on.
