Suspect accused of stealing laptop from Americas Best Value Inn
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., the suspect was let into the building by a clerk after knocking on a locked door. According to police, the suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk was able to escape by running out a side door and hiding, and the clerk then called police.
