After the flooding

Twins Andrew, left, and Tyler Cox, 20, shoot golf balls at Perche Creek Golf Club in Columbia on Monday afternoon despite flooding of the range. Hurricane Ike brought torrential rainfall to Missouri over the weekend leaving many areas flooded.

The Missouri Lions All-State Band kicked off its three-day performance tour through Missouri on Wednesday. The final show will be in St. Louis on Friday.

Photo of the Week - Bill Clinton speaks at MU

Former President Bill Clinton made a visit to MU on Saturday to speak on behalf of his wife’s presidential campaign. Despite a large turnout of supporters to see Clinton, Boone County voters strongly favored Barack Obama when they went to the polls on Tuesday. 60.54 percent of Democrats voted for Obama while 36.95 voted for Clinton.
