Nell Elizabeth Gardner-Roderick loved to spread love and her faith through music.

Robert Kinsey Wood, 27, of Columbia died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, in his home.

She later also worked as a security guard with the Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center, as a dispatcher for the MU Police Department and with the U.S. Department of Revenue.

He graduated from MU with honors and a bachelor’s degree in biological studies and interdisciplinary studies. He also had a minor in psychology.

Kelly Needham spent this summer as an intern with Aflac Insurance in Peoria, Ill., capping off a successful junior year at MU, where he studied business administration. Everywhere he worked, studied or played, those around him remembered his smile and positive attitude.

Sandra D. Kormeier of Columbia, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012. She was 69.

After serving in Korea and Vietnam, Jerry Hunter achieved his dream of running a farm.

Brian Dale Cook of Columbia died Sunday at the age of 44. He is remembered for his passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers and his computer abilities.

Brian Cook was a certified ethical hacker, his family said. He worked to protect clients from computer hacking.

For 33years, Helen McLaughlin worked as a photo lab technician for Today's Farmer Magazine, an agricultural publication by MFA Inc. In more recent years, she became a familiar face around the Columbia community as she enjoyed daily walks along Forum Boulevard.

Ronald Davidson was known for his sense of humor, kindness and enjoyment of reading, gardening and listening to music.

Eula Mary Simmons Harold of Columbia died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012. She was 87.

William Daniel Foley, of Columbia, died Saturday, Aug. 11. He was 74.
