The Rock Bridge girls soccer team won its senior night game over Smith-Cotton 2-0 on Tuesday night under the direction of senior midfielder Alex Litofsky.

Hickman will play rival Rock Bridge 4 p.m. Tuesday at Cosmopolitan Park.

Hickman senior deals with the mental and physical aspects of rehabilitation

The Rock Bridge boys tennis team defeated Marshall 9-0 to remain undefeated this season.

Andy Messenger played for the Kewpies until he moved to Springfield his sophomore year. Far from his friends and his favorite game, he moved back to Columbia for his junior and seniors and lived with his best friend.

It’s impossible not to notice Aaron Skinner at Rock Bridge tennis matches. Skinner is the shortest player on the team, one of the most talkative Bruins off the court, and is talented. All this, and he’s only a freshman.

On a muddy field, the Kewpies lost to traditional-power DeSmet, 5-4. The team has two games this weekend, including the first lacrosse game at Hickman High.

After a rain delay, the Rock Bridge boys defeated Kickapoo 8-1 in the quarterfinals of the Mid-Missouri Invitational. The semifinal will finish Saturday shortly before the finals.
