Missouri's victory over Memphis on Thursday and Elite Eight game on Saturday afternoon have faithful Tiger fans euphoric and businesses expecting large crowds.

Memphis and Missouri have more in common than being in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and sharing the same nickname.

When Dominic James, a point guard for the Marquette men's basketball team, broke his foot on Feb. 25 against Connecticut, the Golden Eagles lost their senior leader.  

Dominic James, the starting point guard for the No. 6-seed Eagles, will try to play on a foot injury he suffered on Feb. 25.

On March 22, 2003 – exactly six years ago – Rickey Paulding and sixth-seed Missouri met Dwyane Wade and third-seed Marquette in the NCAA men's basketball tournament's second round. Wade eventually led the Golden Eagles to the Final Four, but their surprising run nearly ended because of Paulding’s performance in Indianapolis' RCA Dome.
