Brianna Corwin has been coach Ehren Earleywine's go-to pinch runner for all three of her seasons at Missouri, but Corwin has made other contributions to the team, too.

Missouri went 15-8 in Southeastern Conference games in its first season in the conference. The Tigers also beat Florida in a nonconference game in the Mary Nutter Classic in February.

Morgan Eye is one of 31 student-athletes invited and will attend the tryouts. The final team will consist of 12 members, and training camp will begin on June 25.

This week in Missouri sports, the Missouri baseball team ended its nonconference  season with an upset loss to Southeast Missouri state and was swept in a weekend series with Texas A&M. Missouri softball team won two games against No. 2 Tennessee.

The Tigers were swept by a conference opponent for the third time this season.

Tigers' senior ace Chelsea Thomas allowed three base runners on walks, but no Tennessee batter reached base on a hit. Thomas now has 14 no-hitters, including four perfect games, in her five years at Missouri.

All six runs allowed by the Tigers (15-27, 7-16 Southeastern Conference) were unearned. Texas A&M also scored three runs in the first inning.

Missouri has received plenty of benefits since joining the Southeastern Conference, but the league's newest member has been beneficial in the forming of the new SEC ESPN Network.

The Tigers only managed two hits in a low-scoring affair. Rob Zastryzny's record is now 2-9 despite his maintaining an ERA under 4.00. 

The SEC network will produce 1,000 live events each year, including 450 televised on the network and 550 distributed digitally.

In Pete D'Amour's seven seasons as Missouri softball's pitching coach, he has quietly led the team to pitching success, but he would never admit he deserves any credit.
