The Missouri softball team led Western Michigan 10-1 in a game postponed because of the weather. The game continues Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Sophomore Rachel Hay got her first hit of the season, a solo home run, in No. 13 Missouri's 10-0 win in five innings over Western Michigan. The Tigers' offense struggled, though, in a 4-3 win over North Dakota State earlier in the day.

The No. 13 Missouri softball team earned its 14th straight win and 10th shutout this season in a 3-0 victory over Southern Illinois on Wednesday at University Field. But coach Ehren Earleywine said it could have been a more satisfying win.

Missouri sophomore pitcher Chelsea Thomas was back on the mound for the first time in 11 months. Her Gold team fell 6-2 to the Black team, but coach Ehren Earleywine was happy to see her playing again.

Senior Rhea Taylor and sophomore Jenna Marston have different personalities, but similar results on the field. Both have been named to USA Softball's Top 50 Watch List for the 2011 College Player of the Year Award.
