GoFundMe campaign to help pay funeral costs for a mother and her four children who were killed in a central Missouri crash last week surpassed its $5,000 goal in three days.

The campaign was created by one of the sisters of Radiance Wright, who was driving her children to Springfield to attend her sister's graduation on Wednesday when she lost control of her car. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the car went off the left side of Highway 54 and flipped several times. The crash occurred near the town of Eldon in Miller County.

Wright, 30, and her four children, Rondrea Anderson, 8; Arleone Anderson, 4; Patience Horton, 3; and 6-month-old Byra Brown all died in the crash.

Trinity Wright started the GoFundMe page to assist with funeral costs. Donations from friends, family and community members had raised $5,448 as of Monday morning.

Lisa Ferrell, grandmother to Arleone and Patience, said she was grateful for the donations.

"There is no way in the world we could have come up with that money on our own," she said.

Ferrell started another GoFundMe on Monday to cover the costs of the headstones for the children. She also wants to construct a bench in honor of Radiance.

"It’s a blessing that people are realizing the tragedy that has hit our family and turned our lives into a tailspin,” Ferrell said. “I can’t thank them enough.”
