The family of Violet “Vi” Moore, who died last year at the age of 92, is holding a memorial service from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in the Collins Shelter at Stephens Lake Park.

She was born July 23, 1926, and died July 27, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, William Robert Moore.

Violet Moore worked as an assembler for several manufacturing companies. After her retirement, she worked at Robinson’s Cleaners in Columbia for almost 20 years.

She attended the Community of Christ Church, and enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with family.
