The Jay Dix Station access to MKT Trail was closed because of flooding, according to Columbia Parks and Recreation.

The department announced Tuesday afternoon on Facebook that the trailhead at 3725 S. Scott Blvd. would be closed.

The portion of the MKT Trail located northeast of the Brushwood Lake and the Perche Creek bridge was also flooded, according to the Facebook post. It was advised to not move southwest on the trail beyond the Scott Boulevard access trailhead, east of Jay Dix Station.

All other trails within Columbia's city limits were still open, according to the post.
