A driver suffered moderate injuries Wednesday after she drove her car off the right side of the road and hit an embankment.

Alyssa P. Brammer, 18, of Hallsville was the only one involved in the accident on Highway 124 in Boone County. She was wearing a seat belt.

The accident occurred at about 3:50 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Brammer was taken to Boone County Hospital by emergency medical services. Her car, a 2005 Honda Accord, was towed.
