The 92nd Annual Memorial Day Wreath-laying Ceremony will honor hundreds of fallen veterans and those currently serving from Boone County on Monday. 

The public event will begin at 9 a.m. at the Boone County Courthouse. The ceremony will be hosted by the mid-Missouri chapter of the Military Officers Association of America.

The event will feature live music by the Columbia Community Band and Boone County Fire Protection District Pipes and Drums band. American Legion Post 202 Honor Guard will also perform a military firearms salute. 

L. Stephen Gaither, a veteran and former Public Affairs Officer for the Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital, will be the keynote speaker.
