Graduates and guests assembled at 9 a.m. for the first of four graduation ceremonies held Sunday at Battle High School. Graduates walked across the stage at the school’s performing arts center to receive their diplomas and congratulatory elbow bumps from school officials.

The school split graduates and their guests into groups to attend the ceremonies, which allowed space at each ceremony for social distancing. Graduates and guests wore masks while inside the building, and seating was marked to ensure separation between guests.
