Arleone Horton, 4, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019, along with his mother, Radiance, and siblings, Rondrea, Byra and Patience, because of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Arleone was born Jan. 22, 2015, to Leonard Horton and Radiance Wright in Columbia, Missouri.
Arleone was adventurous, lively and full of spirit! He could always make you laugh, and if he couldn’t, he would sing or dance for you until you did! He had the cutest little shuffle in his walk and was always ready to have a good time, whether it was singing, dancing, playing with his cousins and siblings or watching “PAW Patrol!” What a handsome little boy you have become, Arleone Horton.
He is survived by his father, Leonard Horton of Stockbridge, Georgia; grandparents, Lisa Ferrell of Stockbridge, Georgia, Kenneth Horton of Columbia, South Carolina, Diana Merriweather of Nixa, Missouri, and Maurice Wright of Columbia, Missouri; great-grandmothers, Evelyn June Davis of Springfield, Missouri, and Betty Walker of Dallas, Texas; aunts and uncles, Kenneth Horton Jr. and Malik Horton, both of Georgia, Shaundale Coleman of Columbia, Sylvester (Adriane) Davis of Nixa, Maurice Wright III of Springfield, DaQuail (Tomeka) Patton of Columbia, Trinity (Cory Tindle) Wright of Springfield and Kiara Seats of Springfield; great-aunts and -uncles, Deborah (Lamar) Jamerson, Sherran Riley, Lynette (Garland) Adams, Leonard Gardner Jr., Leonardo Gardner, Della Gardner, Everett Gardner, LaRonda (Will) Hariis, Gine Price, Shedrick Horton, Terri Horton, Lisa (Michael) Bonner and Eric Lilly; cousins, Donovon Parker, Sylijah Davis, Sylayah Davis, Allyana Davis, Emmilyn Davis, Ashylus Davis, Atticus Davis, Cory Tindle Jr., Cruze Tindle, Samiyon Meyers, Samijah Meyers, Daleshaun Coleman, Dajanae Coleman and Dariana Coleman; and a host of other cousins and family members.
He was preceded in death by Stephen Gardner, Renee Harris, Alexis Gardner and Darrel Horton.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Parker-Millard Funeral Service, 12 E. Ash St., Columbia, Missouri. Additional visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Friday, May 24, 2019, with a homegoing service at noon at James River Church West Campus, located at 3953 W. Farm Road 168 Springfield, Missouri. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
