Radiance Mauriesha Wright, 30, passed away May 15, 2019.

Radiance was born on March 12, 1989, in Springfield, Missouri, to Maurice Wright Jr. and Diana Merriweather.

She graduated from Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri, and was currently attending school to become a medical assistant. She worked in home health care and beauty supply.

Radiance was just what her name meant: She was radiant, full of life, a bright funny person with a huge heart. She was alive and full of pep and spirit, a cheerleader in high school, an amateur “RAP” artist who loved to have fun, to shop, family and most of all her beautiful children! What brought her joy the most, aside from her kids, was being around family and friends who loved her. To love and be loved was something she stood by and tried to live out faithfully every day of her life. Radiance showed kindness even when she didn’t always feel it back, but she would always be the first to give you a hug and tell you she loved you. It was that amazing warmth that drew people to her and wanted to be in her presence, truly making her a beloved friend to so many. In the midst of everything she ever dealt with, she persevered through it all and loved her children to the end of the earth. She will live on in our hearts and minds forever. We will find happiness in the beautiful memories we shared with her and peace in knowing she is happier than ever, singing and dancing with her beautiful children.

She is survived by her parents, Maurice Wright Jr. of Columbia and Diana Merriweather of Nixa, Missouri; grandparent Evelyn June Davis of Springfield; brothers, Shaundale Coleman of Columbia, Sylvester (Adriane) Davis of Nixa, Maurice Wright III of Springfield and DaQuail (Tomeka) Patton of Columbia; sisters, Trinity (Cory Tindle) Wright of Springfield and Kiara Seats of Springfield; cousins, Wrytell (Sarah McDaris), Shamara Harvey, Krisheena Davis, Marquesha Wright, LaQuail Wright, Pierre (Sara Benson) Courvier, Leanna Flood, Shawnta Choate, Travis Graves, Milo Graves, Anthony Graves, Skyler Graves, Vandesha Lindsey, Kenyell Lindsey and Dorothy Maxwell; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth (Joseph) Johnson of Springfield, Cindy (Rick) Cooper of Princeton, Louisiana, Terry (Vince) Amman of Nixa, DeaAnn Wright of Columbia, Cassandra Edwards of Columbia, Anthony (Debra) Van Buren of Springfield, Virginia, Rodney Wright of Columbia, David Gibbons of Boonville, Missouri, and Darrell (Marshauna) Graves of Atlanta, Georgia; and many other cousins and family members.
