Ian Thomas plays an absolutely essential role on Columbia City Council as an advocate for those whose voices are not usually heard and whose needs are rarely considered.

His integrity is above reproach. To attempt to take his exuberance in increasing affordable housing to a criminal level speaks more about the complainants’ motivation to remove Ian from the City Council than it does to their stated desire to uphold Council integrity.
