There’s more to life on a Friday night than just the action on the field. While everyone else is staring at the big rectangle under the lights, we look the other way; at the relationships, memories and reactions happening in the stands and in the dimmer corners of the stadium. Tolton Regional Catholic High School defeated Hallsville High School at home while Southern Boone County High School and Mexico High School faced off in two of the first Friday night football games of the season. Temperatures began to drop as Rock Bridge and Hickman high schools faced off in the annual Providence Bowl on Friday. Across town, both Battle and Tolton high schools lost their homecoming games.
