In a town hall meeting with students Wednesday, MU School of Medicine Dean Patrice Delafontaine linked associate dean Rachel Brown's departure to the need to maintain the school's accreditation.
Rachel Brown, associate dean for student programs and professional development at the MU School of Medicine, stepped down from her position on Friday. The move comes on the heels of a June accreditation report that put the school under pressure to improve diversity and its treatment of students.
