The biggest draw at Warm Springs Ranch, the home of the Budweiser Clydesdales, is the chance to see some of the 20 to 30 foals born every year.

Visitors are welcome to tour the ranch and see the famous horses up close every day except Wednesday from the beginning of March until the end of November.

The guided walking tour of the ranch's red barn, offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., lasts roughly 90 minutes and focuses on Budweiser’s history with Clydesdales and the processes of breeding, pregnancy and birth at the ranch.

To ensure a spot on this tour, plan to book about a month in advance. Tours can be booked through the ranch website:

A good portion of the tour takes place around the stalls named for famous members of Budweiser's herd, where visitors can hear about the animals while seeing them firsthand.

In a separate section of the barn, visitors can see newborn foals and their mothers in the stalls where they are kept for 10 days after birth and before they're allowed out into the pasture.

The ranch also offers private, "VIP" tours where visitors have the chance to interact with horses in the pastures as well as the barn. This season, guests might be able to catch a glimpse of trainers working with the horses.

The ranch opened as a breeding facility in 2008, but earlier this year also became a training site. Previously, horses were sent from the Missouri ranch to a facility in New Hampshire to train.

Warm Springs Ranch welcomes all ages, although only those over the age of 21 are offered samples of Budweiser beer.
