Missouri landed a wide receiver on Wednesday when Maureese Wren, a 6-foot-4, 220-pounder who played at Tyler Junior College last season, announced on Twitter than he is committing to the Tigers.

Wren, who was primarily recruited by Mizzou wide receivers coach Garrick McGee, visited campus on Friday.
Missouri originally recruited Wren out of Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas. At the time, he initially committed to Arkansas, but according to reports, the Razorbacks had recruited him as a linebacker and he ultimately decided he’d rather concentrate on offense and de-committed in September of 2017. He then enrolled at Louisiana Tech, but left that program in August of last year before he played a game.
At Tyler last season, Wren played in seven games, catching four passes for 72 yards and no touchdowns.
