Newcomer Kelly Bryant, Cale Garrett and DeMarkus Acy were the three players selected to represent Missouri football at the SEC Media Days from July 15-18 in Hoover, Ala., the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday.

Coach Barry Odom will also represent the Tigers at the event.

Coaches and players from all 14 conference teams will meet with more than 1,000 media members in the annual kickoff to the SEC's college football season.

MU wrestling welcomes new assistant coach

The Missouri wrestling team added Kendric Maple to its program as an assistant coach, the team announced Wednesday. He will replace Joe Johnston, who took an associated head coaching job at Air Force.

Maple has coached at the collegiate level since 2014, spending time at Oklahoma (volunteer assistant coach, 2014-16), Purdue (assistant coach, 2016-17) and Nebraska (assistant coach, 2017-19). He wrestled collegiately for the Sooners, where he was a three-time All-American and a 2013 NCAA champion at 141 pounds.

Show-Me Games still accepting athletes

There is still time to register for the annual Show-Me State Games in Columbia.

Registration is open for athletes competing in team sports from July 26-28, including baseball, basketball, softball, soccer and volleyball. A number of individual sports still have online registration open and will be taking on-site registration as well.
