Sierra Michaelis couldn't help but smile.

Moments after two successful free throws put Missouri's lead over Vanderbilt out of reach with 20 seconds left, the senior jogged to the bench and hopped into the arms of her Missouri teammates.

Missouri tacked on four more free throws to seal a 74-68 victory at Vanderbilt to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Tigers' clutch play down the stretch was done largely without the services of star sophomore guard Sophie Cunningham, who fouled out after she flagrantly fouled Vanderbilt's Marqu'es Webb with 2:15 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Vanderbilt went up by three after Cunningham fouled out. Missouri responded with a 7-0 run, highlighted by a steal and layup by Michaelis and a 3-pointer from freshman guard Amber Smith with a minute and 17 seconds remaining. The Tigers held the lead from there, going six-for-six from the free-throw line.

Vanderbilt missed desperation shots as time winded down. Senior Lindsey Cunningham blocked a Vanderbilt layup at the buzzer.

Michaelis led all scorers with 19 points and brought down a team-high six rebounds. Cierra Porter chipped in 16 points.

Missouri returns home for its game Thursday against Texas A&M. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. at Mizzou Arena.
