Redshirt senior Daniel Lewis won his 100th career match as Missouri beat Buffalo 30-8 in a dual at Hearnes Center. The victory was the 25th consecutive dual win for the Tigers, who won the last eight matches after dropping the first two.

Junior Jaydin Eierman, who is ranked third nationally, started the eight-match winning streak for the Tigers, defeating Kyle Todrank with a 24-9 technical fall.

MU's other nationally ranked wrestlers also picked up wins. No. 4 Daniel Lewis pinned Buffalo's Jake Lanning, No. 11 Zach Elam won 3-1 and No. 13 Connor Flynn won 7-6.

Missouri had five freshmen in the starting lineup, including true freshman Brock Mauller who made his dual debut with an 8-2 win.

"It didn't start off as a good day, our young guys went out there and just didn't look good," MU coach Brian Smith said in a press release. "From there, we went with Eierman and he and some of the more experienced guys got it rolling. Jarrett Jacques beat a really good kid and won a hard-fought match and wins in overtime. Brock Mauller came out of his redshirt and found a way to dominate the match. Same thing with Zach Elam. Really impressed with those guys."

Missouri will face off against Virginia at 7 p.m. Thursday at Park Hill High School in Kansas City.
