The Rock Bridge and Hickman boys golf teams competed in the Helias Invitational on Monday in Jefferson City.

Rock Bridge finished in second place with a score of 310, two strokes behind first-place Pembroke Hills, while Hickman shot a 354. 

Freshman Chase Knorr had the best day of any Bruin, shooting a 74, good for two over par. 

Columbia College men's golf finishes Day 1 of Baker Spring Invitational

The Columbia College men's golf team finished the first day of the Baker Spring Invitational in third place Monday in Lawrence, Kansas.

The Cougars shot a 294 for the day, finishing 12 strokes behind first-place Missouri Valley College. Seniors Daymond Dollens and Cole Perkins each shot a 72, putting each in a tie for eighth place on the individual leaderboard.

Play will resume Tuesday.
