Alicia and Amador Molina are celebrating their 62nd Valentine's Day as husband and wife this year. Alicia, 84, and Amador, 90, met while Alicia was in nursing school in the Philippines, then moved to Columbia in 1968 with hopes of giving their children a better life. Amador suffered a stroke in December 2018, but Alicia still considers their relationship a team. Alicia said that she helps Amador, and he still knows what is best for her — they are proud of the life they have built together.

"I am so proud of them," Alicia said. "I have seven great-grandchildren now!"

The couple met during Alicia's first year of nursing school and married after she completed her board exam. "He would always come visit me in the dorm and bring me ice cream," Alicia said. "He tried to sweep me off my feet with snacks. My friends loved him for it."
