Residents and employees of Cooper's Landing continued to clean up the campsite on Thursday. The Missouri River crested at 33.73 feet two days after the campground was evacuated entirely. Employees began cleanup on Wednesday, June 19, and expect the cleanup to last at least another week. Vanessa Leitza, general manager of Cooper's Landing, is bringing a company in to dry out the building, assessing the damage and deciding what needs to be repaired.
